ch 2

chapter 2 starts out talking about the poor section of town, and has eyes that look like they look down on the whole city. it is a great valley where the cities ashes are dumped. the is where toms lover lives. one day while tom and nick were on the train tom made nick get off with him in this little town and they picked up Myrtle and went to an apartment in New York that Tom has for his affiar. they had a party, and all got drunk. Myrtle wanted a puppy, so tom got her one, and as she was getting more seived up, she got louder and louder. myrtle started to talk about tom's wife after she got her puppy and tom told her to shut up and she wouldn't, so he broke her nose.
